狐狸和葡萄

A hungry fox saw some ripe black grapes hanging from a vine on a very tall tree. He jumped and jumped, trying to reach them. Again and again, he jumped, but no matter how much he tried, he couldn′t reach them. They were too high for him.
Finally, in order to hide his disappointment, he decided he didn′t really want the grapes. He went off and comforted himself by saying, "I′m sure they weren′t ripe anyway."

From this Aesop fable, we get the idiom: "That′s just sour grapes"

 狐狸和葡萄
一只很饿的狐狸看到一些熟透了的黑葡萄挂在一颗很高的树的葡萄藤上。它跳过来跳过去,试着去够到它们。
它一次又一次地跳,但是不管它怎样试,它都不能碰到葡萄。对于它来说,葡萄太高了。
最后,为了掩饰它的失望,它认为它不是真的要这些葡萄。它离开,为了安慰自己它说:“总之,我相信它们
没有熟。”

从伊索寓言中,我们得出这条谚语:“那只不过是酸葡萄。”
